Arts and Crafts Supply Swap
September 13, 5-7 pm
Rose Park Community Crop Swap
Steenblik Park
1050 W 800 N, Salt Lake City
Free Admission
Come find new art supplies and get rid of your old ones at our community arts and crafts supply swap! Bring a handful of supplies you don't want anymore and swap, barter, give away, or donate them with your other creative neighbors!
This swap is held in partnership with the Rose Park Community Council's Crop Swap. In addition to the arts and crafts swap, there will also be vegetables, fruits, flowers, etc to share. If you have crops to share, bring them! If you don’t have extra harvest or art supplies to swap, please bring a side dish, dessert, or non-alcoholic drinks for the potluck, or just come as you are. Rose Park Community Council is providing the main dish. There will be prizes and activities for kids and adults!
Please come even if you don't have supplies or crops to swap. Many attendees will have items they are giving away for free to good, crafty homes, and there will be a freebie table as well.
Swap Rules
All unclaimed art materials will be removed at the end of the swap and donated. If you drop materials off and want your unclaimed materials back, please return before the swap ends to pick them up.
No cash, checks, donations, purchases, or digital monetary transactions may be made or exchanged on the property. As this is a swap (not a sale), please only barter, trade, or give away items.
Please consider making some or all of your items free in caring consideration of our community members that don't have anything to trade and still want to participate.

What NOT to Bring
If it cannot be used immediately and without rehabilitation as a crafting material, supply, or tool, please don't bring it.
Please don't bring anything moldy, dirty, super heavy, smelly, non-functional, or in need of repair. We love the old, cool, vintage stuff, but if it isn't functional, please leave it at home. If it's dirty, please clean it before bringing it. If it's too heavy or large for the average person to carry by themselves, there's a good chance people won't be able to take it home with them, so don't bring it either. If a marker or paint is dried up or missing a cap, please just toss it instead of bringing it.
This swap is not for antiques or curios, it's about usable crafting and art making materials and supplies.
We do love fabric but we can't use your small scraps (less than a fat quarter), cut up t-shirts, old jeans, or stuffing from your sofa.
We also ask that you leave the hazardous materials in your garage, including oil-based solvents, house paint, dry paint tubes, spray paint, stuff that is crazy heavy, your plutonium-pigment paint set, and so forth.
